CHARACTERISTICS
1. High Safety
Huntingdon Life Sciences Quality Assurance Department in UK confirmed Everplus Shas very high safety throughout various kind tests for safeties.
(1) Acute Oral Toxicity to the rat
A group of ten fasted rats was given a single dose level by oral gavage of Everplus, formulated in distilled water and administered at a dose of 2000 mg/kg bodyweight. There're no mortalities. The acute lethal oral dose to rat of Everplus was demonstrated to be greater than 2000mg/kg bodyweight.

(2) Skin irritation to the rabbit
Three rabbits were each administered a single dermal dose of 0.5g of the test substance and observed four days. No dermal reactions were observed in any animal following a single semi -occlusive application of Everplus to intact rabbit skin for four hours.

(3) Bacterial Mutation Assay
The substance Everplus was examined for mutagenic activity in four histidine dependent auxotroph of Salmonella typhimurium, strains TA98, TA100, TA1535 and TA1537, and one tryptophan dependent auxotroph of Escherichia coli, strain WP2uvrA, using pour-plate tests. It was concluded that Everplus did not exhibit any mutagenic activity under the condition of test.

2. Wide range antibiosis for bacillus, fungi and virus
Everplus is effective against a fairly broad range of bacteria, fungi and virus throughout effects of Everplus containing Ag+, Zn2+. The D-value being defined as " the time taken at a specified use-concentration to kill 90% of viable E. coli" for 0.5%w/w Everplus against E. coli ATCC25922 was determined to be 9.5 minutes.

3. Durability of antibiosis
Because Everplus contain Ag+ and Zn2+ in the frame work of zeolite, the antibacterial effect is almost permanent and remains unaffected even after repeated washing in water or dry cleaning.
4. Excellent deodorization
Everplus have so many windows and their effect of activated oxygen, so the adsorption and deodorant capability are very excellent.
5. Resistance to high temperature
Because Everplus is inorganic materials, it resist to over 800℃ temperature. It can be used widely for the injection moldings of plastics and the spinning process of filaments, because there're not the appearances of heat deformation and
aging.
FEATURES & MERITS
Everplus is an ion-exchanged zeolite with Ag+ and Zn2+. When it is evenly sprayed to the surface of an object, it can make the object get antibacterial property with performance of its antibacterial and deodorant function.
Representative function of Everplus is that the free electrons, which exist in outer electron orbit of surface-area-developed and light-colored zeolite structure, have an effect on gas orbit contacted with the interface.
And the electrons move to P-orbit of contacted oxygen and show antibacterial and deodorant effect accordingly with instantaneous generation of active oxygen in an incomplete state.
TYPES
EVERPLUS-N is an inorganic antibacterial agent widely used for general resin,paper, etc. We recommend Mater-batch method for the purpose of uniform distribution and dispersion when applied for resin.
EVERPLUS-S (Ultra particle size) is able to perform its excellent effectiveness when applied to products like minute fine textile or ultra thin film, and we also recommend Master-batch method when applied for resin
OPERATIONAL METHOD & APPLICATION PROCESS
After mixing M/B resin which concentrated Everplus powder with virgin resin as needed, it is produced from input to compression projector or catapult.
Meanwhile, in case of project in the state of powder, we recommend to use after concentration if possible. Because it can give an effect of uniform dispersion using it with dilution after making concentrated liquid in advance.
PRECAUTION
Care should be taken not to be mixed with water in handling since Everplus keeps hygroscopic property as characteristic of zeolite. Even in case of M/B product, the residual should be sealed in consideration of the possibility that a little water might be absorbed by Everplus left on the surface of chip.
In the meantime, the recycle method of water-absorbed one is, in case of powder type, to be dried over 3 hours at around 300℃ and M/B over 2 hours at 90℃ in order to prevent poor quality.
DURABILITY
The antibiotic effectiveness of Everplus is semi-permanent because there is no dissolution of effective metals from carrier. So Everplus shows long life effectiveness wherever it is used comparing with organic matter.

STORAGE
Structural change may happen when contacted with strong acid or strong alkali so that it is required to avoid storage together with such goods. We recommend to be kept in a well ventilated place for long-term storage since water may be partly absorbed to the product in a high temperature and humidity condition.
